Some of our staff and the She-Riffs of "That's What She RIFFED" managed to get out to this year's Walker Stalker Atlanta on Oct 18-20 where we had a booth to promote the 5th Anniversary of our film festival and the "TWSR" show as well. We hope that all of guests who came out to our booth enjoyed their experience and hope to see everyone at the next event as this is but the first event we will be at before our next festival!
Submissions open on November 15th through Film Freeway - https://filmfreeway.com/somethingwickedfilmfestival
And our next "TWSR" presentation is this November 16th @8P where our She-Riffs will be screening the infamous classic PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE! SWFF is Back!
It’s time! Something
Wicked Film Festival is coming back in 2020 for our 5th Anniversary and
we’ve got a lot of great things in store for this very special year. In addition to the wonderful new poster from
our graphic designer Byron C. Erwin (who has designed all five of our festival posters)
we will be making a lot of changes for our event which will be August 7-9,
2020. We will be at a new venue for this
iteration of the festival. The 2020
festival will be held at the Infinite Energy Center where we will have three
screening rooms and one panel discussion room, so that means more films to be
screened!
We have also added Fan Films to our list of screening genres
so you film-makers out there with fan film shorts and web series please make
sure to submit those this year. These
fan films can be virtually of anything as long as it is a fan film of an
established property.
You’ll also see us at many different conventions this
year! We were just at Walker Stalker
Atlanta promoting both the film festival and our all-female live riffing show “That’s
What She RIFFED” (which is once a month and if you’ve not had a chance to see
this make sure to check that out as well).
We will have pictures from the event posted soon!
Submissions for the 2020 event start this November 15th
through Film Freeway (https://filmfreeway.com/somethingwickedfilmfestival)
and we look forward to seeing what you all have been working on the in the last
year!
